Classroom Materials: Students should bring to class daily relevant textbook, loose leaf binder, paper, pen, pencil, and assignment pad.

Grading: Daily grades - 1/3
                 Test grades - 2/3

To average, the daily average is entered once and the test average is entered     twice, and that total divided by 3.

Report cards and progress reports must be returned within three days.  Students who do not return these forms will receive detention.

Academic Honesty: All instances of cheating constitute violations of the academic honesty policy of Trinity Episcopal Day School and will be addressed in accordance with the policy set forth in the 2002-2003 Parent and Student Handbook.  (Pp. 18-19)

Attendance and Make-up Work: Students are expected to adhere to the rules of attendance as stated in the Handbook on (Pp. 34-35).  Students should be prepared for class, especially when absent for only one day.  Parents may call the school to get homework assignments or the student may call a reliable classmate.  In the case of extended excused absences, the student will check in with me to make arrangements for make-up work. 

Late work: Homework is due on assigned dates during class period; no make-up work is allowed unless a student has been our for an extended time (more than a day) and has an excused absence.  Papers, projects, etc., submitted after the due date will receive 10 points off for each day the work is late.

Classroom Rules:
1- Have all appropriate materials, supplies, and assignments at your desk and be seated when the bell rings.
2- Be attentive and follow directions and classroom procedures as explained by your teacher.
3- Conduct yourself so as not to interrupt or disturb the class or teacher.
4- Respect the people, equipment, and furnishings of the room.
5- Observe all rules as specified the the 2002-2003 Handbook.

Exception: Uniforms are expected to be worn in accordance with handbook guidelines.  No warnings need to be given before assigning a consequence for the violation.  Skirt and short length should exceed fingertips, without student "adjusting" waistline.  Shirts are always tucked in.

Teacher: I will be available after school on most days to discuss any problems a student might be experiencing with this course, but particularly on Tuesdays.  Parents of students who are experiencing any serious difficulty with this course should schedule am appointment.
