What is your favorite historical figure?
Elizabeth I of England

What is your favorite civilization?
The Greeks for their celebration of life and willingness to question everything.

Which war do you find to be the most important and interesting?
WWII for the reason we fought and the ideals that propelled men to go without question.
Most recently, the conflict/war in Iraq as its cause&outcome will, I believe, ultimately determine our next fifty years as either a cohesive and vital nation or fragmented and stagnant.
